Master Sam Guarino is a sixth-degree black belt who began training at age seven and has taught martial arts professionally since age sixteen. He earned his black belt directly under Senior Grandmaster Craig G. Kollars, a ninth-degree black belt, Certified Taekwondo Instructor, co-founder of the International Taekwondo Alliance, and 2009 inductee into the United States Taekwondo Grandmasters Society.

Master Guarino has also trained under Grandmaster Kim and was appointed a Haidong Gumdo Federation Master for the State of Missouri, establishing Paper Ronin’s recognized connection with the Haidong Gumdo Federation.
