Hi, I'm Sam Guarino. With over 25 years in the martial arts industry, my journey began in childhood and led me to work closely with one of the largest martial arts franchises globally. I've had the unique opportunity to partner with a founder of one of the franchise's biggest schools. This rich experience was the foundation upon which I established my own practice, Paper Ronin.
Throughout the years, my focus has been on guiding small family-owned academies and large franchises in growth strategies, operational efficiency, lesson structuring, and mat management. My diverse experience extends to roles such as a stunt coordinator for independent films and an Athletic liaison on ABC's American Ninja Warrior. Serving on the board of directors for Jason David Frank's Toso Kune Do and achieving the rank of Kyoshi are among my proud accomplishments.
This journey has not only deepened my understanding of the martial arts industry's business aspects but also reinforced my belief in its transformative power. At Paper Ronin, I apply my extensive experience to create a teaching method that melds traditional martial arts techniques with dynamic fitness training. This approach has led to significant achievements in social development and life skills coaching.
